The vast majority of us go through periods in life when we know that things ought to be better. Perhaps our life is not as rich
or rewarding as we believe it should be. Maybe the 'balance' and harmony that we want is absent, or we just feel 'stuck in a rut'. We have dreams and ambitions that we know should be achievable but - for one reason or another - we're allowing them to slip by. We suffer from stress or anxiety, whether as a result of relationship turmoil, work and career pressures or financial obligations, and many of us experience a general sense of unease or 'unfulfilment'. These feelings are not unusual, and most people simply come to accept them as part of life. At such times, however, many of us have a tendency to close off the potential within us, and ignore our own needs, wants and desires. We sideline our ambitions. In effect, consciously or otherwise, we learn to limit our own horizons.
Life most certainly does not have to be this way.
